Product Manager - Settlement Platform

We are hiring aProduct Manager to own the vision and roadmap for a full settlement and payout platform. You will work with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to build and scale auditable settlement capabilities, reporting, and partner-facing transparency while tracking accuracy and timeliness metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Coupang's end-to-end settlement and payout platform
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to turn financial and regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions
• Execute end-to-end with engineering teams, spanning requirements definition, design, development, launch, and iteration
• Build auditable and configurable settlement systems that enable diverse business models, fee structures, promotions, and market expansion
• Define and track success metrics (e.g., settlement accuracy, reconciliation latency, dispute rate, payout timeliness) and continuously optimize platform performance
• Increase transparency and trust in settlement calculations through tools, reporting, and diagnostics for internal teams and external partners
• Balance trade-offs across speed, accuracy, compliance, and operational overhead while protecting financial integrity
• Drive prioritization and communicate roadmap decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Travel to Korea on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• Demonstrated product delivery experience with 5-8 years of experience building products and scaling complex systems
• Industry exposure to finance, accounting, fintech, payments, or marketplace/retail platforms
• Experience working in domains such as settlement, payout, reconciliation, or related financial systems
• High comfort with data, metrics, and analytical problem solving
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and business teams
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, create alignment, and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Business fluency in English; Korean language skills are a plus

• MBA, Engineering, or relevant advanced degree
• Background in e-commerce, marketplace, or two-sided platform businesses
• Familiarity with multinational accounting, tax, treasury, or compliance workflows
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and platform-oriented product development
