£13.45 per hour

Equivalent to £538 per week / 27,976 per year.

Contract Type

Full time – 40 hours per week.

Working two possible shifts:

Monday – Friday (0745 - 1615 / 0930 - 1800) or one shift Sat-Sun (08:00 – 16:30).

Job Purpose

This role is about delivering exceptional service to Stagecoach customers at the Aberdeen Bus Station who are looking to use Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services to travel locally or further afield. You will ensure you are available and visible on the stance to deal with all customer travel queries face-to-face on the stance.

Principal Accountabilities

You’ll put the customer at the heart of everything you do and treat every single customer as you would expect a member of your own family to be treated.

You’ll be expected to provide exceptional customer service by fully engaging with every customer who requires assistance.

Listen to our customer’s travel needs and provide them with the right information to get them where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Encourage customers to download the Stagecoach app and show them how to use it to purchase tickets for Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services.

Advise on the most cost effective and efficient way to travel on Stagecoach or Megabus/Citylink services.

What we need from you:

Comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face and using our Tanoy system to make passenger announcements.

Ability to keep a cool head to deal with unhappy customers who are not satisfied with the service we have provided.

Good at developing and maintaining good working relationships with members of our team.
