Location/Market: Local Market (Mexico, Colombia, or Peru depending on candidate's location)
Reports to: Regional Director – LATAM

We are seeking a high-performing, strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive market growth and commercial success within their local market in Latin America. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-value business opportunities, building long-standing institutional relationships, and driving revenue within the brokerage sector for your specific country. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of their local financial landscape, outstanding negotiation skills, and a proven track record of B2B sales success.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities exclusively within the assigned target market (Mexico, Colombia, or Peru).
  • Sales Execution: Execute tailored commercial strategies to consistently meet and exceed local revenue and client acquisition targets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting partnerships with local institutional clients, professional traders, and strategic partners.
  • End-to-End Sales Cycle: Lead complex negotiation processes within the local market, from initial prospecting and high-level presentations to closing commercial agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Director and executive stakeholders to ensure local strategy alignment and market fit.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales or business development experience in the brokerage, fintech, or financial services industry within the local market.
  • IB Portfolio & Networking (Critical): Must bring an active portfolio of Introducing Brokers (IBs) or demonstrate exceptional networking capabilities and strong local relationships to aggressively scale and expand the current client portfolio from day one.
  • Market Expertise: Strong, specialized understanding of local financial regulations, market dynamics, and industry networks within Mexico, Colombia, or Peru (corresponding to the specific role).
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and closing skills with a strong corporate acumen.
  • Languages: Native Spanish speaker with professional proficiency in English.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.

    Resumen del Perfil
    Buscamos un Business Development Manager (BDM) estratégico y de alto rendimiento para impulsar el crecimiento del mercado y el éxito comercial dentro de su mercado local en América Latina. En este rol, será responsable de identificar oportunidades comerciales de alto valor, construir relaciones institucionales sólidas y duraderas, y generar ingresos dentro del sector de corretaje (brokerage) para su país específico. El candidato ideal posee un profundo conocimiento de su panorama financiero local, excelentes habilidades de negociación y una trayectoria comprobada de éxito en ventas B2B.

    Responsabilidades Clave
    ● Desarrollo de Mercado: Identificar, calificar y capturar nuevas oportunidades de negocio exclusivamente dentro del mercado objetivo asignado (México, Colombia o Perú).
    ● Ejecución de Ventas: Ejecutar estrategias comerciales a la medida para cumplir y superar consistentemente los objetivos locales de ingresos y adquisición de clientes.
    ● Gestión de Relaciones: Construir y consolidar alianzas sólidas y duraderas con clientes institucionales locales, traders profesionales y socios estratégicos.
    ● Ciclo de Ventas de Extremo a Extremo: Liderar procesos complejos de negociación dentro del mercado local, desde la prospección inicial y presentaciones de alto nivel hasta el cierre de acuerdos comerciales.
    ● Colaboración Interdepartamental: Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con la Directora Regional y los líderes ejecutivos para garantizar la alineación de la estrategia local y la adecuación al mercado.

    Requisitos y Calificaciones
    ● Experiencia: Mínimo de 3 a 5 años de experiencia comprobada en ventas o desarrollo de negocios en la industria de corretaje (brokerage), fintech o servicios financieros dentro del mercado local.
    ● Portafolio de IBs y Networking (Crítico): Es indispensable aportar una cartera activa de (IBs) o demostrar una capacidad excepcional de networking y sólidas relaciones locales para escalar y expandir agresivamente el portafolio de clientes actual desde el primer día.
    ● Experiencia en el Mercado: Comprensión sólida y especializada de las regulaciones financieras locales, la dinámica del mercado y las redes de la industria dentro de México, Colombia o Perú (según corresponda al rol específico o el país de residencia).
    ● Habilidades: Excepcionales habilidades de comunicación, presentación y cierre con una fuerte visión corporativa.
    ● Idiomas: Dominio nativo del español con competencia profesional en inglés.
    ● Educación: Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, Finanzas, Economía, Relaciones Internacionales o un campo relacionado
