What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, Agentic Commerce will help define and execute Walmart’s business strategy for the next generation of AI-powered commerce. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, analytics, and execution - identifying and sizing emerging opportunities, developing strategic recommendations, testing new ideas, and driving initiatives from concept through launch. Working across Business, Product, Engineering, Data, and external technology partners, this leader will connect rapid developments in AI with Walmart’s commerce capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, analytical problem solver, and technically fluent builder who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
About the team:
The Technology Operations team bridges Walmart’s commerce capabilities with the evolving AI ecosystem, shaping how the company engages with emerging AI and agentic commerce platforms. This team identifies new opportunities, develops product strategies, and transforms them into partnerships, capabilities, and enhanced customer experiences. Leading initiatives from evaluation to experience scaling, the team shapes the commerce ecosystem while safeguarding and expanding Walmart’s unique strengths and customer relationships.
What you'll do:
- Define business strategies for emerging AI and agentic commerce opportunities, including where Walmart should participate, differentiate, and invest.
- Use data and analytics to size opportunities, diagnose performance, build business cases, and measure impact.
- Explore emerging technologies and build prototypes, analyses, or lightweight solutions to test ideas and accelerate decisions.
- Lead initiatives end-to-end, from strategy and experimentation through launch, measurement, and scale.
- Work with leading technology platforms to develop differentiated commerce experiences.
- Develop strategies across AI-driven discovery, agentic experiences, new distribution models, and emerging monetization opportunities.
- Translate emerging AI capabilities and customer needs into actionable strategies, requirements, and roadmaps with Product and Engineering.
What you'll bring:
- Strong background in business strategy, consulting, analytics, technology, or product, turning ambiguous problems into actionable strategies and measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical skills, using data to generate insights, size opportunities, build business cases, and evaluate performance.
- Technical fluency in AI/LLMs, APIs, data, and digital platforms, with the ability to independently experiment with emerging technologies.
- A builder mentality and experience owning complex, zero-to-one initiatives from idea through execution.
- Strong business and product judgment, translating emerging technologies into customer and commercial opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, cross-functional leadership, and ability to influence senior stakeholders and build relationships with external technology partners.

Sunnyvale, California US-11656: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
