Performance & Development Lead

As the Performance & Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality and growth trajectory of our billable workforce. Reporting to the Director of Workforce Strategy, you will manage a small team and partner closely with HR and Services to ensure our staff are equipped, engaged, and recognized for their contributions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the quality and growth trajectory of the billable workforce through performance management cycles
- Conduct quarterly check-ins and annual performance reviews
- Identify skills gaps and perform workforce-wide skills gap analyses
- Design and coordinate training pathways, including EHR certification, specialty knowledge, soft skills, and US healthcare context
- Manage performance improvement plans (PIPs) in partnership with HR, including documentation, tracking, and resolution
- Drive and manage the tier advancement and reclassification process, including criteria development, assessment, documentation, and communication
- Develop and run coaching and mentorship programs for high-potential staff
- Manage recognition and engagement programs for the billable workforce
- Produce quarterly workforce development reports covering training completion, tier movement, PIP outcomes, and retention metrics
- Coordinate with Client Alignment teams to address client feedback with performance implications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience leading performance management cycles, including performance reviews, calibration, and documentation
- Hands-on experience managing performance improvement plans (PIPs) in partnership with HR or employee relations
- Experience designing and coordinating training programs, including curriculum development, scheduling, and completion tracking
- Experience partnering with HR on people policy and employee relations matters
- Fluent English
- Eligible to work in the Philippines
- Availability to work hours aligned to US time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
- People management experience leading a small team (e.g., 1–2 direct reports)
- Knowledge of US healthcare operations and EHR workflows
- Experience coordinating with client-facing or account management teams on client feedback that impacts employee performance
