Location:While this role is open to remote candidates across the United States, team members located within 40 miles of our Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256) are expected to work onsite four days per week to support collaboration, speed, and execution. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.
The Solutions Consultant will focus on the technical sales of Nextiva’s solutions. This role serves as a key technical resource, requiring a deep understanding of Nextiva’s product offerings and their applications. The consultant will act as the technical lead throughout the sales process and will coordinate additional sales resources, including Product Subject Matter Experts, Account Management, Project Management, and Professional Services.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Lead business and technical discovery to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and success criteriaÂ
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrationsÂ
- Foster relationship with third-party vendors and partners to enhance solution offeringsÂ
- Own proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, including scoping and success criteriaÂ
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnairesÂ
- Partner with Account Executive on account strategy and deal planningÂ
- Act as the technical voice of the customer back to Product and EngineeringÂ
- Handle basic objection handling on architecture, security, and integrationsÂ
- Stay up to date on new technologies, industry trends, security & compliance, business needsÂ
Cross-Functional CollaborationÂ
- Must be a compelling, passionate, and enthusiastic speaker Â
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer feedback, competitor, and partner insightsÂ
- Help standardize demo best practices, documentation, and reusable assetsÂ
- Contribute to internal enablement by training sales teams on how to position and leverage demos effectivelyÂ
- Work closely with the Services Delivery team to communicate and coordinate customer requirements and roadmapsÂ
- Fluent in EnglishÂ
RequirementsÂ
- 3–6 years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting roleÂ
- Preferred understanding of knowledge in technical areas such as (UCaaS, CCaaS, CRM, SIP, VOIP, AI, APIs, Automation Services) and common integration patterns (Workato, Redox..)Â
- Ability to present confidently to technical and business stakeholdersÂ
- Familiarity with Nextiva's competitive landscape (e.g., RingCentral, Five9, Genesys, Zoom)Â
- Fundamental knowledge of Python, JSON, HTML CSS, and JavaScriptÂ
- Use AI to enhance personal workflows, leverages multiple AI tools based on their strengths, identifies repetitive tasks for automation, and shares best practices to drive team growthÂ
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, develop new processes, and adapt to new technologyÂ
- Bonus would be knowledge in areas such as Data Security & Privacy (HIPAA, PCI, GDPR)Â
- Bonus knowledge in Spanish or FrenchÂ
- Bonus knowledge in Lucidchart, Google Dialogflow, Teams, WhatsApp, Google G-SuiteÂ

Our compensation packages are tailored to each role and candidate's qualifications. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, training, and certifications, when determining compensation. We aim to offer competitive salaries or wages that reflect the value you bring to our team. Depending on the position, compensation may include base salary and/or hourly wages, incentives, or bonuses.Â
The expected hiring range is $115,000 - $190,000 including annualized base salary and annualized target sales incentive. Some sales roles are paid hourly with overtime eligibility. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate, resulting in a different hiring range.Â
