Meta is seeking an I&T Director for Global Security, a senior leader within Global Workplace Services, responsible for building and leading the Integration & Transformation function for the Global Security pillar. The role owns the pillar's transformation, operational excellence, technology, and vendor strategy, and ensures that its threat, risk, and resilience posture is reflected in leadership decision-making.

This role acts as the connective tissue between Global Security leadership, the other GWS pillars, Central Operations, and cross-functional partners including Legal, Investigations, HR, Finance, and VMO. The successful candidate will lead the pillar's I&T team, including direct management of an I&T lead, and will carry independent ownership of defined programs alongside an advisory mandate to pillar leadership.

This is a high-visibility role that operates with the information-handling discipline the security mission demands, and drives AI-native ways of working across the functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted advisor to the pillar leader and connective tissue to Central Operations and peer pillars, representing Global Security in GWS and cross-functional committees, SteerCos, and forums
  • Own goal alignment and performance tracking, and drive the pillar's transformation strategy including operating-model evolution, outsourcing, and service-delivery transition
  • Lead the pillar's executive engagement, including Business Reviews, reporting, All Hands, Summits, and communication strategy
  • Lead, develop, and grow the pillar's I&T function, including direct management of an I&T Lead, setting clear expectations and addressing performance with fairness and support
  • Build a high-performing, AI-native team, integrating AI as a core collaborator into the function's workflows
  • Own the translation of the threat landscape into leadership decision-support, curating threat, risk, and situational-awareness intelligence into executive-ready reporting such as quarterly risk telemetry across people safety, data center, company, and emerging-tech risk
  • Partner with Global Security teams to keep leadership situational awareness current during live incidents, and coordinate after-action reporting and executive incident communications
  • Ensure the pillar's risk posture and duty-of-care commitments are represented in strategy, planning, and cross-pillar programs
  • Lead OPEX planning including financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and own the pillar's zero-based budgeting levers and execution against efficiency targets
  • Own the pillar's metrics framework as focal point for metrics development, in collaboration with SMEs, leadership, and Data Analytics, and ensure metrics are understood and used consistently across GWS
  • Own strategic vendor relationships at the pillar level, including vendor transition programs end-to-end, KPI and SLA development with Supplier Management, and initiatives involving contractual change and gainshare
  • Own the pillar's technology roadmap and lead Tech Business Reviews, partnering with the GWST Tech Strategist to prioritize initiatives against risk reduction and operational resilience
  • Partner with Legal and GWS Governance and Compliance on the pillar's regulatory exposure, and embed security and compliance requirements into other pillars' site and program design
  • Partner with HR to lead People roadmapping, including Pulse, Manager Score action planning, key-talent management, and headcount planning

Minimum qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, transformation, or program leadership, including 5+ years in a corporate or enterprise services environment
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including directly managing and developing employees
  • Experience leading transformation or operating-model change programs end-to-end, including outsourcing, service-delivery transition, or organizational redesign
  • Experience owning an OPEX budget, including forecasting, variance analysis, and driving efficiency or zero-based budgeting targets
  • Experience owning strategic vendor relationships, including KPI and SLA development, vendor transitions, and commercial negotiation levers
  • Experience building metrics and reporting frameworks and using data to drive executive decision-making
  • Experience influencing senior executives, including leading business reviews and representing a function in cross-functional governance forums
  • Experience operating in a matrixed organization, driving outcomes through partners without direct authority
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion
  • Experience partnering across functions such as Legal, HR, Finance, Security, or Vendor Management Experience in corporate security, physical security, risk management, resilience, or crisis and incident management
  • Experience integrating AI tooling into team workflows and enabling others to adopt it responsibly
  • Experience translating threat, risk, or intelligence inputs into executive decision-support and reporting
  • Experience leading technology roadmap prioritization for a business function, including partnering with engineering or product teams
  • Experience in workplace services, facilities, real estate, or a comparable global operations function
