Operations Assistant

A well-established company that focuses on commodity trading and supplies a range of products is looking for an Operations Assistant to join their team.

This is anoffice-basedrole with flexible hours and offers a salary ofup to €35Kplus benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage orders from start to finish, ensuring they are processed accurately and on time

• Answer customer questions and provide support

• Create and track loadings and invoices, and ensure they are properly documented

• Prepare customs documents for international shipments

• Handle customer complaints — analyse, review, and follow up

• Manage overdue payments

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

• 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in the chemical sector

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Fluency in German, both written and spoken (strong preference)

• Excellent negotiation skills and a proven ability to manage international customer relationships

• Basic knowledge of import/export and customs procedures

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

• Proficiency with MS 365 applications
