Accounting Supervisor

Our client, one of Malta's leading corporate service providers, is currently looking for aSupervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who is seeking to take on greater responsibility, lead a team, and further develop their technical and client management.

This is a hybridrole offering a salary of up to €60K + performance bonus.

Kindly note that due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are based in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting assignments to keep quality and deadlines on track

• Manage a mixed portfolio of local and international clients

• Draft and review financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports

• Manage VAT compliance, including preparing and checking VAT returns

• Draft and review corporate income tax computations and returns

• Guide and support junior team members

• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as the main point of contact

• Track budgets, billing, and work progress while regularly updating management

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimise department efficiency

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified Accountant - non-negotiable

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience in Malta, preferably within a professional services environment

• Previous experience managing a client portfolio within a CSP environment

• Proven experience in leading a team

• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Fluency in Maltese is a plus

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver a high standard of client service
