We are looking for a Cafe Team Member  to join the team at our Place To Eat café inJohn Lewis Cardiff. 

The café is open 7 days a week, serving up freshly made sandwiches, salads, cakes and coffee.

We are looking for full time staff (30h, 5 days a week) , and the successful candidatemust be available to work weekends, and be able to work shift patterns ranging from 7am – 8pm.

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Full Time

TEAM MEMBER ROLE

The team member role with us will include a mixture of working front and back of house, so we are looking for someone who would be happy to get involved wherever needed. Tasks could include:

• Assisting with general food preparation
• Taking orders, serving food and drinks
• Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard
• Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
• Assisting with washing up and kitchen cleaning duties
• Organising deliveries
• Ensuring that food safety standards are always followed
• Assisting with clearing tables and other tasks in the cafe as needed. 

• Previous experience in a similar role is desired
• Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Dedication to exceeding customer expectations
• Being a great team player and a smile
