ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate training calendar for monthly webinars by planning topics, preparing and delivering webinars, creating short quizzes, and scheduling guest trainers as needed.Â
- Create practice advisories, templates, and other written resources for ILS practitioners.Â
- Curate legal updates, resources, training opportunities, and news clips for weekly e-newsletter.
- Coordinate and assist with delivery of Basic Immigration Law Trainings (typically two 6-week virtual sessions and two 1-week in-person sessions each year) and participate in grading exams and assignments from the Trainings.
- Obtain approval for World Relief to offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for virtual and in-person trainings. Â
- Answer legal questions pertaining to individual cases, immigration law, legal ethics, and government policy and practice by email, Microsoft Teams, and phone from World Relief immigration legal services (ILS) practitioners in local offices and faith-based nonprofit affiliates.Â
- Participate in refining assessment tools for ILS programs. Â
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Mature and personal Christian faith

- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World ReliefsCore Beliefs,Statement of Faith,Christian Identity andNational Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
- Valid drivers license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standardsÂ
- Licensed attorney in a jurisdiction in the United States, and in good standing in all jurisdictions where admitted.
- At least five years of recent experience in family-based and humanitarian-based immigration law.
- Strong commitment to legal ethics and ability to keep information confidential.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Up to 25% domestic travel  Â
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.Â
- Ability to effectively and professionally work with individuals from many different backgrounds; able to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
- Experience in trauma-informed practice.Â
- Mentoring skills.
- Training experience in virtual and in-person contexts. Â
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in ILS program management strongly preferred.Â
- Recent experience in removal defense and âcrimmigrationâ is strongly preferred.Â
- Knowledge of Zoom and Thinkific preferred.Â
