Woods Cross City is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and community-focused individual to join our team as aPart-Time Code Enforcement Officer. This is a dynamic opportunity to work directly with residents and businesses to ensure our community remains safe, well-maintained, and vibrant.

Position Overview

As a Code Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in upholding Woods Cross City’s municipal codes and ordinances. This is anat-will, working-levelposition that involvesup to 29 hours per week/or 1508 hours per year. You’ll be responsible for investigating potential violations and working collaboratively with property owners and businesses to achieve compliance in areas such as building codes, zoning, signage, weeds, snow removal, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints and concerns related to potential code
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to determine
• Provide education and guidance to residents, contractors, and business
• Prepare detailed reports, issue notices, and coordinate legal action when

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflict diplomatically.
• Experience in code enforcement, community planning, public administration, or a related field—or currently enrolled in relevant coursework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A problem-solver who is detail-oriented and tech-
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a small but fast-paced city
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug

This is a part-time, non-benefited,career service exempt
