Our Client is looking for a highly drivenHealthcare Business Development & Appointment Setting Virtual Assistant to help expand their network of healthcare partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, thrives on building relationships, and is motivated by generating real business opportunities.
This isnota customer service or administrative support position. You'll be responsible for proactively reaching out to healthcare organizations, introducing the company's services, nurturing prospects, and scheduling meetings with key decision-makers. Your success will directly contribute to the company's growth, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
Top 3 Priorities
1. Appointment Setting
Schedule qualified meetings with decision-makers from:
- Home care agencies
- Hospitals
- Medical staffing agencies
- Other healthcare organizations and medical facilities
Your goal is to generate qualified business opportunities for the client through effective outreach and relationship building.
2. Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Identify and prospect potential clients using public databases and other lead sources.
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to introduce the company's services.
- Pitch healthcare consulting and compliance solutions to prospective organizations.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive business development efforts.
3. Persistent Outreach & Follow-Up
- Conduct email, fax, and phone outreach using marketing materials such as Lunch & Learn invitations.
- Make multiple follow-up attempts with prospects who have not yet responded.
- Maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle to maximize appointment conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead generation.
- Promote the company's healthcare consulting, compliance, and training services to healthcare organizations.
- Build relationships with decision-makers across the healthcare industry.
- Conduct outbound cold calls to introduce services and create qualified business opportunities.
- Meet appointment-setting goals through consistent outbound activity.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify prospective clients using public databases and available resources.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Track outreach efforts and ensure every lead receives timely follow-up.
- Perform multiple contact attempts to maximize response and conversion rates.
Appointment Setting
- Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and the client.
- Coordinate appointments and presentations with healthcare organizations.
- Ensure prospects are properly qualified before scheduling meetings.
Outreach & Follow-Up
- Send outreach emails and faxes using approved marketing materials.
- Follow up consistently via phone, email, and fax to keep opportunities moving forward.
- Handle objections professionally while maintaining a positive, consultative approach.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospects throughout the sales process.
Lead Management
- Maintain accurate lead records using spreadsheets or other tracking systems provided by the client.
- Update outreach activities, appointment status, and follow-up schedules.
- Help organize lead lists and improve tracking processes as the business continues to grow.

Success in this role is measured by your ability to consistently generate qualified business opportunities.

- Number of qualified appointments scheduled
- Outbound call activity and lead generation efforts
- Consistency of follow-up with prospective clients

The client will evaluate performance during the first month, with strong performers having the opportunity to transition into afull-time position as the business continues to expand.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience inAppointment Setting, B2B Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation, or Sales Development Representative (SDR) roles is required.
- Previous experience working remotely or as a Virtual Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Experience within thehealthcare, home care, nursing, medical staffing, healthcare consulting, or medical services industry is highly preferred.
Basic Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English with a professional, articulate, and persuasive communication style.
- Strong confidence making high-volume outbound calls.
- Proven ability to schedule appointments through outbound prospecting.
- Comfortable speaking with executives, healthcare professionals, and business decision-makers.
- Strong business development and sales mindset.
- Persistent and resilient when handling objections and rejection.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and lead management skills.
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision and proactively identifies opportunities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Able to quickly learn new systems and adapt to evolving workflows.
- Must be willing to submit an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available for video meetings with the camera on when required.
- Must have relevant and verifiable work experience.
- Must have no other clients during required working hours.
