Bookkeeper UK account (Remote PH)

● Accounts Receivable and Cash Collection
○ Create and issue invoices using our internal tools.
○ Liaise with clients & internal teams in order to ensure received POs are correctly allocated to the relating invoices & on our internal dashboard.
○ Ensure correct application of VAT rules for UK-based clients (when to charge VAT and when not to).
○ Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue payments & proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, maintaining regular communication with clients.
○ Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and issue credit notes where necessary.
● Accounts Payable & Debtors management
○ Uploading of client invoices into Xero and completing creation of bills.
○ Monitor debtors, assisting to ensure maintenance of suitable debtors days.
○ Review received invoices to pay vs. internal dashboard, to ensure reduction of financial risks (such as payment duplications, overpayments, fraud).
● Data Entry, Controls and Administration
○ Maintain accurate finance and accounting records.
○ Assistance with reconciliation of company bank statements.
○ Implementing and upholding internal finance controls to minimize financial risk.
○ Handle day-to-day internal queries and finance-related administration tasks.
● Customer & Client Liaison
○ Respond to financial queries from customers and clients in a friendly, professional manner.
○ Escalate complex finance queries to the relevant stakeholders when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
● Proven 5 years experience in a finance or accounting support role.
● Proficiency using Xero for invoicing, bookkeeping, and reporting.
● Strong understanding of UK VAT regulation & it’s application.
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
● Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
● Speak Fluent English. Desirable Skills & Attributes
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a similar industry.
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
● Comfortable handling client communication and capable of resolving disputes diplomatically.

Monthly Salary: ₱53,500.00 WITH HMO OR ₱55,000 no HMO
Schedule: 1 am to10 am Pacific Standard Time
