Williams Parker, the region's largest and oldest law firm founded in 1925, is seeking an accomplishedHealth Law Attorney withfive or more years of private practice experienceto join our growing healthcare practice in Sarasota, Florida.
This opportunity is ideally suited for an attorney who advises healthcare providers, healthcare businesses, and related organizations on complex regulatory, operational, transactional, and compliance matters. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the long-term continuity and growth of a highly specialized healthcare practice while helping expand service offerings to existing and new clients.
We welcome attorneys who bring a portable book of business, well-established client relationships, strong referral networks, or other meaningful opportunities for practice growth and who are seeking a collaborative, full-service law firm platform on which to expand a sophisticated healthcare practice and deepen long-term client relationships.
What You Will Do
As a Health Law Attorney at Williams Parker, you will represent senior living facilities, physician and dental practices, rehabilitation and surgery centers, complex management services organizations, healthcare technology companies, and other licensed healthcare providers in achieving their business and legal objectives while delivering exceptional client service.
Our areas of focus include:
- Healthcare provider structuring and employment matters
- Healthcare transactions and business arrangements
- Regulatory compliance, licensing, and administrative matters
- Facility acquisition, construction, and land use issues
- Healthcare taxation matters
- Healthcare-related litigation and dispute resolution
- Day-to-day operational and regulatory counseling for healthcare providers and organizations
You will also collaborate with attorneys across the Firm's corporate, real estate, labor & employment, trusts & estates, and litigation practices to provide comprehensive counsel to healthcare clients.

Education & Licensure
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Member of The Florida Bar in good standing or eligible for admission.
- Willingness to sit for the Florida Bar Examination in the near future if not already licensed in Florida.
- Florida Bar Board Certification in Health Law is preferred, but not required.
Experience
- Five or more years of private practice experience with a substantial focus on healthcare law.
- Experience advising healthcare providers and healthcare-related businesses on regulatory, compliance, operational, and transactional matters.
- Experience working with healthcare organizations such as physician groups, dental practices, senior living providers, ambulatory surgery centers, rehabilitation providers, management services organizations, healthcare technology companies, or other licensed healthcare entities.
- Experience navigating state and federal healthcare regulatory frameworks, licensure requirements, and operational compliance issues.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to provide practical, client-focused advice in a highly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated business development capability and a portable book of business, or a succession-based client transition opportunity, is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while exercising sound professional judgment and providing exceptional client service.
