ABOUT THE ROLEÂ
We are seeking a skilled communicator and strategic thinker to develop high-impact executive presentations, reports, and briefing materials that drive leadership decision-making across Western Digital's Chief of Staff Office.Â
This role plays a critical part in translating complex business information, operational updates, and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling, and professionally crafted executive materials. The ideal candidate combines strong business storytelling capability with sharp analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools including AI applications, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting senior leadership.Â
This is a communications and reporting role — not a technical, IT, or software role.Â
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Executive Presentations & ReportingÂ
Develop senior and executive-level presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic communicationsÂ
Consolidate data and inputs from multiple functions and sites into clear, structured, and visually compelling presentationsÂ
Translate complex information into concise executive narratives with strong visual and written storytellingÂ
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professional quality across all materials produced for the Chief of Staff OfficeÂ
Support preparation of materials for external stakeholder engagements when requiredÂ
Strategic Reporting SupportÂ
Support preparation of organizational progress reports, initiative updates, and performance summariesÂ
Maintain reporting templates and presentation standards for the Chief of Staff OfficeÂ
Coordinate collection and validation of reporting inputs from cross-functional stakeholdersÂ
Assist in tracking strategic initiative updates and follow-up action itemsÂ
Project Coordination SupportÂ
Provide end-to-end coordination support for selected Chief of Staff Office initiativesÂ
Support scheduling and preparation activities for business and leadership reviewsÂ
Assist with documentation and follow-up activities related to organizational programsÂ
Stakeholder CollaborationÂ
Partner with leadership teams, functional stakeholders, and site representatives to gather information and align on reporting requirementsÂ
Support the Head of Chief of Staff Office in executive communication preparationÂ
Contribute to the development, execution, and tracking of selected Chief of Staff Office projectsÂ
RequiredÂ
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Operations Management, or a related fieldÂ
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in executive reporting, business presentations, strategy support, or a similar roleÂ
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePointÂ
Working knowledge of Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) for content development and productivityÂ
PreferredÂ
Experience supporting senior leaders or C-suite/SVP-level reporting environmentsÂ
Experience in multi-site or global operational organizationsÂ
Familiarity with manufacturing or operations business workflowsÂ
Skills & CompetenciesÂ
Exceptional presentation development and business storytelling skillsÂ
Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret and visualize data for executive audiencesÂ
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishÂ
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality standardsÂ
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelinesÂ
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentialityÂ
