We are looking for an experienced  Data Architect with a strong background in theRetail domain to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted extension of our internal technical team, taking ownership of multiple concurrent projects while collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring expertise in modern data platforms, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive project execution from requirements through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to deliver multiple data initiatives simultaneously.
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions usingPython,Snowflake, andSQL.
  • Review and maintain high-quality code developed by offshore engineering teams.
  • Lead technical discussions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Work directly with Business and IT stakeholders to gather, refine, and validate requirements.
  • Build data solutions independently whenever rapid execution is required.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks proactively, and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, performance, and timeline expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor team members to achieve successful project outcomes.

Required Skills

  • 10–15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong hands-on experience withPython.
  • Strong expertise inSnowflake.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Working knowledge ofLooker.
  • Experience designing scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in theRetail domain.
  • Experience translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience leading technical teams and reviewing code.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
