Although this position is posted as Networking ITS Field TechnicianĀ (New England), this position internally will be classified as Technical Sales Support and will fulfill the duties below.Ā
Wavetronix is looking for aĀ Networking ITS Field TechnicianĀ who is eager to help solve customer technical problems and professionally walk them through the installation, training, and support of new and existing products. Along with travel the role will be full time onsite in our New EnglandĀ office. The New England Territory consists of Ā CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and ME. We would prefer for applicants to be located around MA due to client need.Ā
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of networking field work or technical sales
- Self starter
- Ability to execute presentations to large groups
- Ability to travel 50% or more in month within the region (company vehicle provided)

⢠Help manage all on site installation/configuration of productsĀ
⢠Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsĀ
⢠Document processes and produce timely and detailed trip reportsĀ
⢠Cooperate with the team and share information across the organizationĀ
⢠Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendationsĀ
⢠Keep track of current projects and support cases in CRMĀ

⢠Travel as required within and between territories.Ā
⢠Technical degree (EE, EET) or certifications in ITS/traffic industry preferredĀ

⢠Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations to the clientĀ
⢠Effectively communicate and cooperate with Technical Services and share information across the organizationĀ
6 Month MilestonesĀ
⢠Master installation and configuration of Wavetronix productsĀ
⢠Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipmentĀ
⢠Demonstrate functional knowledge of Wavetronix nonācore product lineĀ
12 Month Milestones
⢠Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and demonstrate all Wavetronix productsĀ
⢠Learn intersection and controller cabinet basic operationĀ
⢠Perform at least 5 solo technical customer visitsĀ

Predicted range for this role: ~65-90K a year based on previous experience, transferable skills, years of service, base pay median based offĀ location. This is a non commissions based role.Ā
