As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks aCollections Systems Application Specialist.

We are seeking a professional to join our team and take ownership of the application supportingCollections operations in a dynamic multi-utility environment.

This role combines application ownership, vendor management, and project delivery responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation and evolution of theCollections platform while leading strategic initiatives, including the integration of new business units into thecollections ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the application owner for the Collections platform, ensuring system availability, stability, and optimal performance
  • Manage the relationship with the external vendor, coordinating deliveries, enhancements, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment
  • Lead and coordinate the ongoing project to onboard additional business units into the Collections platform
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
  • Coordinate system enhancements, testing activities, releases, and implementation plans
  • Work closely with Billing, CRM, CxP, and Payments teams to ensure seamless end-to-end collections processes
  • Support data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation activities related to collections operations
  • Contribute to system optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support incident management activities, including issue investigation and coordination of resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • 3+ years of experience in application support, system ownership, technical business analysis, or enterprise application management
  • Experience participating in system implementation or integration projects
  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise applications and system integrations
  • Experience with Collections, Billing, CRM, or Customer Operations systems
  • Exposure in Energy, Utilities, Telecommunications, or other high-volume customer industries
  • Familiarity with debt collection processes and customer lifecycle management

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and coordinating external delivery teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
