We'reĀ looking for a Quality Engineer to join our R&D team in Bergen. We create advanced software solutions used daily by customers across the globe to deliver engaging and captivating stories. Many of our customers are household names, and your work will directly influence the quality and reliability of the tools they depend on.Ā
This role goes beyond traditional testing. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality and enjoys building the systems, tools, and processes that help teams deliver great products with confidence.Ā
You'llĀ work closely with developers, UX designers, Product Owners, and Product Managers in a highly collaborative environment where quality is a shared responsibility. At the same time,Ā you'llĀ be a strong advocate for quality, helping the team continuously improve how we develop, test, and release software.Ā
What You'll Be DoingĀ
- Owning and improving quality processes within the teamĀ
- Performing exploratory and structured testing of new featuresĀ
- Designing, implementing, andĀ maintainingĀ automated tests using Python andĀ PytestĀ
- Maintaining and improving test environments and virtual machinesĀ
- Setting up and troubleshooting networking for test and development environmentsĀ
- Configuring andĀ maintainingĀ Kubernetes-based environmentsĀ
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelinesĀ
- Helping drive release readiness and quality gatesĀ
- Investigating issues, reproducing customer-reported problems, and working closely with developers on solutionsĀ
- Continuously improving tools, automation, and workflows that enable faster and safer deliveriesĀ
What We're Looking ForĀ

Some qualities and experience that would make you successful:Ā
- A strong passion for quality and delivering reliable softwareĀ
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownershipĀ
- The ability to learn independently and solve technical problemsĀ
- Strong communicationĀ skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplinesĀ
- Experience with software testing, automation, development, operations, or similar technical rolesĀ
- Experience with Python and automated testing, or a willingness to learnĀ
- Interest in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and cloud-native technologiesĀ
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, or infrastructure automation is a plusĀ
- Experience working withĀ both Windows andĀ Linux environments is a plusĀ
- Experience with modern software development practices is beneficialĀ
