Digital Designer
from šæš¦ South Africa
Our client in the UK is looking for a versatile designer to join the team permanently. This is a broad role that touches almost every part of the business - customer-facing creative work, production graphics, UI designs for our data visualisation products, and working on developing the design systems that underpin them. It's a role that rewards genuine range: the ability to shift between a brand campaign brief and a stat pack template, between a motion graphics package and a Figma component, without losing quality in the transition. Everyone on the team has real ownership of their work and real impact on the product and the brand - this role is no different.
Responsibilities
- Customer graphicsā campaign assets, social graphics, broadcast-ready visuals, and branded content for football clubs, media companies, and athletes.
- T3 Studios and video productionā graphics packages, motion-ready assets, templates, and visual support for our studios and production team.
- Stat pack design ā our stat packs are used by some of the world's leading broadcasters and rights holders as on-air production tools. Data-rich, visually precise, and built to perform in a broadcast environment.
- Toolbox template designā our Toolbox platform lets clients generate their own graphics. You'll design templates that sit inside the product, balancing creative quality with the constraints of a data-driven system.
- Design systemsā we have two design systems: one for our stat packs and one for the Toolbox UI. You'll contribute to both by building out components, maintaining consistency, and helping us scale without losing quality.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ā Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Experience designing for multiple output formats ā social, digital, and broadcast.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and briefs simultaneously without dropping quality.
- High standards visible in portfolio detail; receptive to feedback and able to iterate.
- Self-directed ā doesn't need to be managed to get things done.
- Good communicator ā can take a brief, ask the right questions, present their thinking.
- Collaborative across design, product, and production teams.
Strongly Valued (Differentiators)
- Motion graphics or video production experience.
- Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
- Previous work in a creative agency, sports organisation, or media environment.
- Ability to pick up new tools and workflows quickly.
- Genuine passion for sport ā particularly football.
Platforms & Tools
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Figma (UI, prototyping, design systems / components).
- Motion / video production tooling (After Effects core; bonus for Premiere / Cinema 4D / Lottie exposure).
- Awareness of broadcast-spec output (frame rates, safe areas, colour profiles, deliverable specs).
Character
- High standards - you care about the detail and it shows in your work.
- Good communicator - you can take a brief, ask the right questions, and present your thinking.
- Efficient - you know when to spend time and when to move fast.
- Receptive to feedback and able to iterate.
- Self-directed - you don't need to be managed to get things done.
- Collaborative - you're comfortable working across design, product, and production teams.
What You'll Get
- A role with genuine breadth and ownership ā no two weeks look the same.
- Work that reaches real audiences in professional sport and media.
- A close-knit, high-quality team that cares about doing things well.
