Position Summary

As aPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care that improves residents’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Providedirect patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Carry outtreatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist
• Documentdaily treatments and weekly progress notes
• Assist withrehab and patient care conferences
• Monitor and reportpatient progress and changes
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care
• Assist with training ofRestorative Aides
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Report equipment concerns and ensure proper maintenance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accreditedPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Active, unencumberedPTA license in South Carolina (required)
• Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board
• Experience in askilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity withPointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion for an underserved population
