Lead Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician responsibilities will include:Â
- Timely completion of work orders and special projects
- Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner
- Diagnoses problems and repairs
- Responds to all service requests, on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, and must be completed in a timely and professional manner
- Assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times. As well as snow removal during the winter months, when needed
-Â Monitor and document maintenance tasks, including appliance replacement, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
-Â Maintain inventory, ensure shop cleanliness, and comply with safety and OSHA standards.
-Â Ensure adherence to fair housing policies, company procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
-Â Maintain required site-level logs and support software provisioning within defined access parameters.

REQUIREMENTS
-Â High School diploma/GED and related Vocational Training and/or equivalent work experience
-Â HVAC knowledge and EPA certification, Type I & II or better, including 410A Certification.
-Â Be available for a flexible work schedule, including weekends and on-call responsibilities.
-Â Ability to provide direction and instruction to subordinates, and to communicate effectively and efficiently with residents, supervisors, vendors, and others.
-Â Previous plumbing, electrical, mechanical, drywall repairs, carpentry, and pool/spa maintenance experience.Â
-Â Previous hotel, commercial, and/or apartment maintenance experience preferred.
-Â Previous supervisory experience preferred.
-Â Must be comfortable with the use of software, mobile devices, and computer-related hardware
