👩💻 Your impact

AsMobile Engineering Manager, you will play a defining role in how ViCentra builds, owns, and evolves its mobile technology. As we transition from externally developed software to a fullyin‑house, scalable mobile function, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of the Kaleido App and the engineering capability behind it.

From day one, you willdefine ViCentra’s mobile engineering foundations, setting development processes, quality standards, and ways of working that meet the demands of a regulated medical device environment while enabling innovation and agility. You will build and grow the team, shape the culture, and ensure the mobile platform is robust, compliant, and ready to scale.

This role sits at the intersection oftechnology, regulation, and product strategy. Your work will directly support ViCentra’s US expansion, future device integrations, and long‑term product roadmap.

This is not a “keep‑the‑lights‑on” role. You will establish the foundations of a mobile platform that is critical to ViCentra’s growth and have lasting influence on how we build medical software for years to come.

🔧 What you’ll take on

In your role, you will:

• Lead thetransition of a medically regulated mobile app from an external development partner to internal ownership

• Define, implement, and continuously improvemobile software development processes within a regulated medical device environment

• Build and scale amobile engineering team (growing to ~10 people) across Android, iOS, usability, and testing

• Establish and maturemedical-device–compliant software development processes (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 62366

• Own delivery of mobile software used in conjunction with medical hardware and cloud backends

• Drive collaboration acrosscyber security, systems, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams

• Act as the key technical and delivery interface with external partners and suppliers

• Introduce and strengthenAgile / Scrum ways of working within a regulated environment

• Ensure mobile software meets the highest standards ofsafety, quality, and regulatory compliance

• Support product releases tied to ViCentra’sgo-to-market strategy

• Report directly into the VP of R&D and shape the future mobile roadmap

📌 What you bring

• Extensive experience in medical device software development

• Proven leadership experience managingmobile engineering teams

• Deep knowledge ofmedical device regulations and QMS, including ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA / 21 CFR 820

• Experience working withexternally developed software and bringing it in-house

• Strong understanding ofmobile app development (Android and/or iOS) and hands on background inAndroid (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift)

• Confidence working in complex multi-disciplinary environments

• Comfortable operating with autonomy, ownership, and accountability

• Previous scale-up or rapid-growth environment experience
