Join Version 1 – Lead with Expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials & Tax

Version 1 is seeking an experiencedSenior Oracle Cloud Financials & Tax Consultant to join our growingManaged Services team within the ERP Practice.

This is a key role for a functional expert who bringsdeep Oracle Fusion Financials knowledge combined with strong, hands-on Oracle Fusion Tax expertise. You’ll be instrumental in supporting, optimising, and enhancing client environments—particularly driving best practice, compliance, and performance within theTax module.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will:

• Provideday-to-day functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials across multiple client environments
• Act as afunctional lead for Oracle Fusion Tax, owning configuration, optimisation, and ongoing support
• EnsureTax processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned to business and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues across Financials and Tax, deliveringhigh-quality fixes and enhancements
• Proactively identify opportunities toimprove system usage, with a strong focus on Tax capability and automation
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for changes and enhancements
• Translate requirements intorobust functional solutions, working closely with technical teams
• Manage and prioritisechange requests through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery
• Act as atrusted advisor to clients, particularly in relation to Tax configuration, impacts, and best practice
• Liaise with Oracle onService Requests (SRs) and stay current withquarterly release updates, especially Tax-related changes

Your Experience

Essential

You will have:

• An extensive background in anApplication Support Analyst or similar functional support role
• Strong hands-on experience acrossOracle Cloud Financials (SaaS) including:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Intercompany Accounting
• Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax, including configuration, setup, and ongoing support in complex environments
• Strong understanding ofTax processes, compliance, and reporting within Oracle Cloud
• Proven ability to translate business requirements intoeffective functional solutions
• Experience working withinITIL-based service environments

Desirable

You will have:

• Experience delivering or supportingOracle Cloud Financials implementations and/or upgrades, with Tax involvement
• Reporting expertise usingOTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smart View
• Exposure toOracle SCM modules
• Oracle certifications inFinancials and/or Tax
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
