What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be at the core of our PeopleSoft ecosystem, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across environments:

• Own and optimise PeopleSoft environments
  Maintain and support application and server infrastructure, proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure high availability.

• Drive upgrades and continuous improvement
  LeadPUM upgrades and quarterly patching, ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and future-ready.

• Enable seamless releases
  Collaborate closely with development and functional teams tomigrate approved code into production efficiently and safely.

• Ensure environment readiness
  Plan and manage system availability, support environment refreshes, and execute post-refresh activities for non-production systems.

• Monitor and enhance performance
  Oversee production batch schedules, identify bottlenecks, and resolve performance issues across PeopleSoft processes and reports.

• Deliver strong database administration
  ManageOracle database installations, patching, backup & recovery, cloning, and performance tuning across environments.

• Strengthen resilience & continuity
  Design and implementrobust backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies to protect business-critical systems.

• Provide expert DBA consultancy
  Offer technical expertise acrossOracle and SQL Server environments, supporting broader infrastructure initiatives.

• Communicate with clarity and impact
  Provide structured updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across technical and business teams.

• Strong expertise inPeopleSoft Administration and architecture
• Proven experience managingcomplex enterprise environments
• Solid hands-on experience withOracle databases (and SQL Server exposure)
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus onperformance and stability
• Excellent collaboration skills acrosstechnical and functional teams
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach with strong communication skills

Working Pattern

• Primarily aligned toUK business hours, with flexibility to supportEST shifts when required

Core Technical Expertise

• Strong experience inApplication Administration and PeopleTools
• Hands-on expertise acrossPeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), including:
  • App Servers
  • Process Schedulers
  • WebLogic Servers (Linux & Windows)
• Advanced knowledge ofPeopleTools 8.54+ andIntegration Broker
• Proven experience working withPeopleSoft 9.x (or above) environments
• Strong database administration skills across:
  • Oracle Database
  • Microsoft SQL Server
• Deep understanding ofPeopleSoft architecture, infrastructure, and administration best practices
• Expertise across all core technical areas ofPeopleSoft Administration

Experience & Capability

• 5–7 years’ experience in PeopleSoft Administration / Infrastructure roles
• Strong track record ofowning issues end-to-end and delivering timely resolutions
• Comfortable working inhigh-pressure, production-critical environments
• Experience withcloud-based infrastructure / server environments is highly desirable.
