We are looking for an experienced Account Director to take ownership of strategic international client accounts, ensuring successful commercial delivery from agreement to execution, revenue validation and long-term growth.

This is a highly visible role that combines commercial account management, international relationship building, project leadership and business development, working directly with Mobile Operators and senior stakeholders across multiple international markets.

Job Description

As an Account Director, you will become the commercial owner of your assigned projects after the initial agreement has been reached by the Sales team. Your mission will be to protect the commercial agreement, build trusted relationships with Operators, drive successful project execution and maximize long-term commercial opportunities.

You will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Technical and Finance teams while acting as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle.

What you will need to do

  • Take ownership of international commercial accounts from commercial agreement through project completion.
  • Protect and maintain the agreed commercial framework throughout project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Operators and key stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
  • Secure the resources, approvals, information and internal support required from the Operator to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate commercial discussions and negotiations while maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
  • Travel internationally often to strengthen partnerships, support project launches and attend key project milestones.
  • Support Operators during critical project phases, commercial discussions and escalations.
  • Coordinate third-party commercial agreements related to prizes, media, events, logistics and other project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify commercial or operational risks and proactively recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare executive presentations, commercial updates, progress reports and project closing presentations.
  • Support Operators with business cases, presentations and internal materials to facilitate project approvals and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate revenue validation, invoice reconciliation and payment collection together with internal teams and Operators.
  • Identify opportunities for renewals, upselling and future commercial growth.
  • Contribute to closing new commercial opportunities from both company-generated leads and your own professional network when required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Commercial Management, B2B Sales or Business Development.
  • Previous experience working with international clients in Telecommunications, Loyalty, CVM, Digital Marketing, SaaS or Technology industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial projects and strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Existing relationships within the Telecommunications industry will be considered a strong advantage.
