Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Specialist (Indirect Spend) - London hybrid - July 2026 start

Location: London hybrid – 2-3 days per week on site
Start Date: 27 July 2026
Contract Length: Initial 12-week assignment with potential extension

We are currently supporting a major infrastructure organisation in the search for an experiencedProcurement Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong experience across indirect spend categories to drive value, deliver savings opportunities and manage end-to-end procurement activity within a complex infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across a range of indirect spend categories.

• Analyse spend data and identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.

• Run end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering and supplier selection.

• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in line with governance and compliance requirements.

• Support the delivery of procurement projects within agreed timelines.

Essential Experience

• Proven procurement experience within an infrastructure, engineering or asset-intensive environment.

• Strong experience across indirect spend categories, including:

  • Engineering Services

  • Facilities Management (FM)

  • IT and Technology

• Demonstrable experience identifying and delivering cost-saving initiatives.

• Experience managing procurement procedures from sourcing through to contract award.

• Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of and experience working within public sector procurement regulations.

• Experience operating within regulated or publicly funded environments.
