EnergyāÆDepartmentāÆĀ
The Energy GroupāÆis responsible forāÆsupporting Vantageās data center portfolio through the execution and management of complex commercial energy agreements, including utility service agreements, power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, gas supply and infrastructure contracts, and other energy-adjacent arrangements. The team partners closely with project management, development, legal, finance, and external counterparties to ensure contracts are executed efficiently, accurately documented, and aligned with businessāÆobjectives.āÆĀ

The Energy Project Development Manager is accountable for the end-to-end execution of assigned energy projects, serving as the single-threaded owner responsible for delivering projects that meet schedule, cost, and reliability objectives. This role operates at the center of the energy development lifecycle, integrating interconnection strategy, infrastructure delivery, and commercial structuring into a cohesive execution plan.Ā
The Manager is responsible for driving project planning, coordination, and decision-making across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a high degree of ownership and accountability, managing competing priorities, navigating uncertainty, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact project delivery.Ā
Acting as the primary interface for internal stakeholders, utilities, and external partners, the Energy Project Development Manager plays a critical role in advancing projects through key development milestones, resolving complex issues, and maintaining clear, accurate, and actionable reporting. Success in this role requires the ability to balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution, while driving outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving development environment.Ā
Essential Job FunctionsĀ
Own execution of assigned energy projects from initiation through deliveryĀ
Develop and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, and forecastsĀ
Coordinate cross-functional teams across T&I, Infrastructure, and CommercialĀ
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issuesĀ
Drive decision-making and escalate key challenges as neededĀ
Manage internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and partnersĀ
Ensure alignment across technical, commercial, and schedule requirementsĀ
Track and report project performance, milestones, and risksĀ
Support development of project strategies and execution plansĀ
Maintain disciplined documentation and reporting across the project lifecycleĀ
Job RequirementsĀ
Ā 7ā10 years of experience in energy development, infrastructure delivery, or project managementĀ (PMP preferred)Ā
Experience with energy, utility, or large-scale infrastructure projectsĀ Ā
Strong project management skills, including schedule, budget, and risk managementĀ Ā
Ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams and stakeholdersĀ Ā
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesĀ Ā
Excellent communication and organizational skillsĀ Ā
Familiarity with energy project lifecycle and delivery challengesĀ
Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Salary Range: US $140,000- $150,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations.
