Motion Designer

The role

As aLead Motion Designer / Editor, you will be a hands-on creative leader responsible for defining and delivering motion design, editorial, and VFX work.

You will use motion as astorytelling tool, shaping rhythm, pacing, and emotional impact across all deliverables, while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with clients.

Role responsibilities

• Lead thecreative direction of motion design and editing across projects
• Design and executehigh-impact motion, 3D, and VFX work
• Shape storytelling throughpacing, rhythm, transitions, and visual flow
• Developoriginal motion languages and visual systems
• Create content forbrand films, pitch materials, digital experiences, and campaigns
• Extend motion design intoweb, apps, and interactive platforms
• Providecreative direction and feedback to team members
• Ensure quality through attention totiming, detail, and craft execution
• Present and explain creative decisions clearly to clients, linking design to strategy
• Contribute tohigh-stakes content such as sizzles, launches, and proposals 

Minimum qualifications

• Proven experience in motion design, editorial, and VFX (senior/lead level)
• Strong expertise inAfter Effects and video editing tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve)
• Advanced capabilities in3D tools (Cinema 4D or Blender)
• Experience deliveringhigh-quality VFX and compositing work
• Strong understanding ofvisual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure
• Experience collaborating with teams and reviewing creative work
• Ability to communicate effectively inEnglish
• Strong client-facing communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working increative studios, agencies, or production environments
• Strong skills in design tools such asIllustrator, Photoshop, or Figma
• Experience translating motion intodigital products (web/apps)
• Additional language skills (Spanish or Portuguese)
• Experience mentoring or leading teams

Additional requirement

• Portfolio must includeexamples of generative AI integration in motion/content work
