Responsibilities

• Produce and refine automated scripts aimed at confirming how applications perform across a range of technical layers
• Assess which application components should receive automation focus first and organize testing scope by weighing risk against business value
• Initiate automated test cycles and examine the output generated to identify defects prior to release
• Liaise with engineering teams and business stakeholders to interpret upcoming feature demands and reshape them into actionable testing scenarios
• Continuously refresh and improve existing automation suites so they remain relevant as the application develops further
• Determine the underlying cause of test failures, differentiating between actual defects in the product and faults within the automation scripts themselves
• Help formulate testing methodologies and organizational frameworks that accommodate upcoming features and system improvements
• Participate in scheduling discussions intended to forecast the time and resources testing initiatives will require
• Assist in preserving stable continuous integration operations by confirming automated tests execute dependably throughout build pipeline stages
• Compile records covering testing methodologies, ongoing difficulties, and effective approaches to encourage collective learning within the team

Requirements

• Academic qualifications spanning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable field
• Experience totaling three years or more spent directly engaged in automation testing
• Applied, dependable Java skills used specifically for constructing automated test solutions
• Demonstrated history working with Java-oriented tools created for Web UI automation
• Evident competence developing automated validation workflows for both web services and API interfaces
• Familiarity operating version control systems to supervise and log changes made to source code
• Solid grasp of core concepts tied to designing and organizing automation testing frameworks
• Practical experience integrating BDD frameworks within Java-based test setups
• Effective communication skills paired with English proficiency at C1 level or higher, facilitating accurate interpretation of business requirements and their transformation into agentic architecture designs
