Senior Automation Tester (Java)

We are looking for aSenior Automation Testerto join our team. The ideal candidate has strong Java-based test automation skills, hands-on experience with Selenium and REST API testing, and a good understanding of web application security and OWASP vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automated test scripts
• Build and maintain UI automation using Selenium
• Develop automated tests for REST APIs and backend services
• Validate security vulnerability fixes and confirm that identified issues have been properly remediated
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing following security fixes, dependency upgrades, and application changes
• Validate findings and remediation results using Veracode or similar SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions
• Work with developers to reproduce security-related issues and verify implemented fixes
• Ensure security remediation does not introduce regressions into existing business-critical functionality
• Analyze automated test results, identify failures, and support root-cause investigation
• Perform API and database-level validation where required
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product stakeholders, and other members of the team
• Contribute to improving overall test coverage, automation, and quality practices across the applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on relevant experience in Java-based test automation
• Good practical experience with Selenium
• Strong experience testing REST APIs
• Experience integrating and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web application security concepts and common OWASP vulnerabilities
• Ability to test and validate security-related fixes
• Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with existing enterprise applications and complex business workflows
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Decent communication skills with working English fluency (B2 level or higher) to understand business requirements and translate them into agentic architectures

• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Veracode or similar security testing platforms
• Experience with SAST, SCA, and/or DAST tools and understanding of their findings
• Experience testing Spring / Spring Boot-based applications
• Experience with regression testing and automation for legacy enterprise systems
• Experience testing applications undergoing dependency, framework, or security-related upgrades
• Experience building or modernizing large-scale, complex systems
