Senior Automation Tester (Java)

We're currently expanding our team and looking for a Senior Automation Tester in Java to come aboard. Responsibilities

• Design and roll out testing frameworks that remain closely tied to project schedules and delivery checkpoints
• Locate, catalog, and pursue problems from the point they surface until they're fully resolved, working hand-in-hand with the engineering team
• Analyze product requirements and technical documentation to gauge the right level and range of testing needed
• Build and keep up sturdy, flexible testing structures capable of adjusting to shifting project demands
• Turn testing data into concise, actionable summaries for distribution to the appropriate stakeholders
• Contribute to sprint planning and estimation conversations, keeping quality considerations front and center
• Continually revisit and enhance existing test methodologies to sharpen efficiency and broaden coverage
• Coordinate with cross-departmental teams to sustain consistent quality benchmarks throughout the development pipeline
• Dig into production-related issues to trace their root origins and put forward ways to prevent recurrence
• Help junior staff grow by transferring practical knowledge and providing ongoing guidance

Requirements

• Beyond three years of direct, applicable experience in Java-focused test automation
• Strong grasp of Java for building and maintaining automated test scripts
• Real-world experience applying Java-based tools designed to automate web UI testing
• Experience crafting automated test suites for web services and API components
• Comfort using version control systems to oversee and document code changes
• Solid understanding of the core architecture and design concepts underlying test automation frameworks
• Practical experience configuring BDD frameworks within Java-based projects
• Clear communication skills combined with working English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting accurate translation of business requirements into technical deliverables
