Intern – Business ValuationÂ
Â
Interns in the Business Valuation group at Stout perform engagements for various purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, acquisition accounting, corporate tax matters, estate and shareholder planning, litigation, and fairness and solvency opinions.Â

Interns at Stout have the opportunity to gain client exposure and improve their technical skills while working under Stout professionals. Â

WhatYou’ll Do:Â
Conduct in-depthindustry, market, and company research toidentify,evaluate and support assumptions, benchmarks, andconclusions;Â
Analyzeand interpret complexfinancial statements,identifying trends, risks, and value drivers thatimpact thevaluation;Â Â
Prepare due diligence questions and evaluate supporting documentation tovalidate financial, operational, and marketassumptions;Â Â
Participate in client or management meetings providing substantive input on valuation methodologies, assumptions, andconclusions;Â
Develop and analyze detailed financial models (Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Public Company, and Merger and Acquisition); and Â
Create comprehensivedeliverables and supporting analyses including presentations, analysis packets, writtennarratives – relied upon by our senior level professionals and delivery to our clients. Â

The Intern will be part of a firm where the culture and exceptional client service is inspiredfromleadership down.  Interns also interact with senior level professionals and clients on a regular basis. Â

Qualifications/Requirements:Â Â
Pursuing a BA/BS Degree inFinance,Accounting, Economics, or related discipline (required).Â
Minimum cumulativeG.P.A. of 3.0required; 3.5 or higher preferred.Â
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Â
Relevant internship and/or extracurricular related experiences preferred.Â
Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills withability to interpret complex financial data and synthesize findings into clear and actionableinsight.Â
Superior Communication and interpersonal skills,including ability to present complex information and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.Â
Must be eligible to work in the US, without employer sponsorship, at the time ofhire and in the future.Â
