Lead Transportation Operations

• Develop and execute business plans and operational strategies to achieve transportation goals related to safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost.
• Drive performance by identifying operational opportunities and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and network effectiveness.
• Support large-scale transportation operations by ensuring freight moves safely, accurately, and on time to serve our stores, clubs, and customers.

Drive Safety, Compliance, and Quality

• Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and maintain adherence to transportation, supply chain, and operational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Develop and support standardized processes, documentation, and best practices that improve operational consistency and performance.

Manage Financial Performance

• Oversee operational expenses and monitor performance against budget goals.
• Drive asset utilization and resource optimization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze business metrics and transportation performance data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve results.

Lead Through Change and Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Walmart Performance System (WPS) principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Implement transportation and supply chain initiatives by utilizing effective change management practices and operational playbooks.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts and develop sustainable solutions that improve service, safety, and operational performance.

Develop High-Performing Teams

• Lead, coach, and develop salaried and hourly associates while creating a culture of accountability and growth.
• Establish performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and recognize individual and team accomplishments.
• Identify and develop future leaders through mentoring, succession planning, and career development opportunities.
• Foster an inclusive environment where associates feel valued, supported, and empowered to perform at their best.

Execute Business Priorities

• Drive execution of multiple business plans and strategic initiatives across transportation operations.
• Remove barriers to performance, allocate resources effectively, and adapt plans to meet changing business needs.

Strengthen Community and Business Partnerships

• Build strong relationships with associates, business partners, and stakeholders across the supply chain network.
• Represent Walmart within local communities by supporting outreach initiatives, charitable activities, and company-sponsored events.
• Promote Walmart's mission and values while serving as a trusted ambassador for the organization.
