As a Manager,Ā Global Trade Compliance - Special Programs, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Ā
Ā
Manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) globally, including monitoring regulatory developments, assessing qualification, ensuring supporting documentation, and driving compliance with applicable requirementsĀ
Represent the team as a subject matter expert (SME) in cross-functional meetings and projects to support sourcing strategies, minimize trade restrictions, and optimize landed costsĀ
Identify and coordinate opportunities for import duty refunds, including preparation and submission of applications to relevant authoritiesĀ
Prepare and submit responses to government inquiries related to FTA and special program compliance (e.g., CF28 or similar requests)Ā
Support the assessment, design, implementation, and execution of special customs programs (e.g., duty drawback, FTZs, bonded warehousing, inward processing, returned goods relief)Ā
Support U.S. and other government sales by qualifying products under TAA, BAA, and similar regulatory programs, including supplier engagementĀ
AnalyzeĀ import/export data and support IT/ERP initiatives to identify compliance risks, trends, and duty optimisation opportunitiesĀ
Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures, training, KPIs, and performance reporting in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersĀ

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Ā
Bachelorās Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of experience in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chainĀ
Ā ORĀ
High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chainĀ
Ā
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Ā
Ā
Masterās degree in International Business, Trade, Supply Chain, or a related discipline from an accredited institutionĀ
Seven (7) years of experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and duty savings programs in a multinational or consulting environmentĀ
Seven (7) years of experience with special customs programs such as duty drawback, bonded warehousing, FTZs, or inward processingĀ
Experience with U.S. and international trade regulations, includingĀ TAA (Trade Agreements Act), BAAĀ (Buy American Act), and related compliance requirementsĀ
Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional or global teamsĀ
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GTS) and use of data analysis to support compliance and cost optimizationĀ
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsĀ
Experience developing policies, procedures, or training related to trade complianceĀ
Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsĀ
Ā Five (5) years of experience supporting global trade compliance programsĀ in a private, public, government, or military environment
Skills include project management, problem-solving, and effective communication across global teamsĀ

Work location:Ā Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel toĀ one of these locations: Eagan, Minnesota or San Antonio, Texas,Ā at least 2-days per week)Ā
