Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Angular Developer to join our Medical Device Engineering team in Waukesha, WI.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining modern web-based applications that support regulated medical device products and healthcare workflows.
This role requires strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and front-end architecture, along with experience working in a quality-driven and compliance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and reliable web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, system architects, and verification engineers to implement product requirements.
- Develop reusable UI components, services, and libraries following industry best practices.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Support software verification, validation, testing, and defect resolution activities.
- Create and maintain technical design documents and development artifacts.
- Ensure compliance with medical device quality standards and established software development processes.
- Collaborate with global development teams across onsite and offshore locations.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (version 12 or higher preferred).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Experience developing responsive, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Ability to develop reusable UI components and follow front-end development best practices.
- Experience with software testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Experience working in medical device development or healthcare engineering environments.
- Understanding of quality-driven and compliance-focused software development processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
