Duties include cycle counting, auditing, picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and using forklift/high reach equipment. Move materials safely in adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Pay: $ 25.98 hr.
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:
This positionis responsible for conducting physical and visual inspections of product andsystems and is accountable for the day‑to‑day quality and inventory functions within the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective action when needed (e.g., alertingappropriate personnel to adjustprocesses;identifying, segregating, and isolating non‑conforming product). Results should be reported to managementin a timely manner.The role also ensures consistent handling of product throughout the facility by performing inventorycountsandaudits to verify product accuracy, quality, and potential damage, as well asmaintainingaccurate inventory records.Additional responsibilities include reconciling inventory discrepancies and notifying leadership of irregularities or potential roadblocks.The positionis responsible foridentifying, segregating, and monitoring quality holds once communicated to the Distribution Center, and for troubleshooting quality andinventory of discrepancy issues.Routine reporting includes daily and weekly deliverables for ICQA Supervisors, such as theend of shift reporting, DC error log,reworkman‑hour reporting, GREF zone issues, and cycle countmetrics.Additional assignments may beassignedas needed.
All team membersare responsible forsafety—this includes, butis not limited to, adhering to personal safety practices andmaintaining food‑safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Examine contents and compare them with records (manifests, orders, etc.) to verify accuracy.
Confer and correspond with facility representatives to resolve issues related todamages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
Maintain housekeeping standards with attention to detail.
Perform cycle counts of physical inventory,monitor ongoing inventory issues, and report findings to the Supervisorregarding discrepancies.
Use RF guns, Blue Yonder,IMI, Oracle,Bartender, and other warehouse management systems to ensureaccurate results.
Prepare, review, analyze, and present reports and updates to helpidentify trends in quality and inventory performance.
Assist in training assigned associates.
Operate a forklift safely and consistently promote a safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
Demonstrate and promote asolution‑based, positive attitude in meeting goals andobjectives.
Self‑starter with the ability to stay on task and complete assignmentsin a timely manner without direct supervision.
Ensure delivery of quality products and services through continuous monitoring and adherence to company standards and operating procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to follow procedures accurately andin a timely manner to support companyobjectives.
Strong logic and reasoning skills to identify root causes and communicate potential solutions to leadership.
Highly professional in conduct and communication.

Mustpossess the skills necessary to complete required Smucker documentation.
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
Strong math skills.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
Ability to function well under stress.
Flexibility to work where and when needed based on operational demands.
Must pass the forkliftand high reach liftwritten test and driving skills test within two weeks of hire.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure documents, and shipping/receiving process documentation as they relate to companyobjectives.
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Minimum of12months or more related experience in a quality or inventory role in a big box in Food manufacturing oranother high-volume environment.
Reading, writing, basic English communication, excellent math skills, Microsoft Office Suite fluent.previousWMS experience, and ability to learn other warehousing software.
Tools and Equipment:
Forklifts, High reach lift, RF scanguns, electric and manual floorjacks, computer systems,bartenders, hot glue guns, and other department specific tools.
Work Environment:
This joboperates in a distribution environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high.
Physical Demands:
The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.
