Role Name: Feature Systems Engineer
Work Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan (Onsite)

Job Responsibilities:

Create, update, and efficiently track Customer Feature Objectives (CFOs).
Conduct thorough analysis to ensure all CFOs align with project objectives and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and follow best practices while aligning on a global strategy for new features.
Support platform-level new feature development.
Support program-specific new feature development.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and Voice of Customer (VOC) clinics to support the development process.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
3–5 years of automotive industry experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong project coordination skills.
Automotive systems background.
Knowledge of ISO 26262.
Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Knowledge of INCOSE requirements decomposition.

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Knowledge of IBM DOORS or similar ALM/PLM management tools.
Systems Engineering experience.
Experience with system network topology diagrams.
Ability to understand and analyze problems from multiple perspectives, including Software, Hardware, and Field.
Knowledge of a functional domain such as Body, Chassis, Electrical, or Interior.
