Primary Requirements:
- Strong engineering technology leadership experience.
- Ability to lead engineering teams while driving delivery and technical execution.
- Strong technical credibility with development and engineering teams.
- Hands-on understanding of modern engineering practices.
- Excellent executive-level and stakeholder communication skills.
- AI / GenAI enablement and adoption.
- SRE transformation and operational excellence.
- Engineering productivity and SDLC modernization.
- Architecture reviews and technical governance.
Candidates may come from backgrounds such as:
- Engineering Manager
- Engineering Director
- Platform Engineering Lead
- Technology Delivery Leader
- SRE Leader
- Engineering Transformation Leader
- AI / GenAI, including OpenAI, Copilot, and LLM-powered solutions.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and observability.
- SDLC modernization.
- DevOps and CI/CD.
- Modern application architecture.
- Cloud expertise in Azure, GCP, and/or AWS.
- Kubernetes.
- Platform engineering experience.
The ideal candidate is a senior engineering leader who can engage effectively with executives, lead engineering teams, drive technology transformation initiatives, and provide hands-on technical guidance when required.
Experience with AI enablement and SRE transformation is highly desirable. Cloud expertise is considered a secondary requirement.
