Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Client PEP and ACH Payments. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the PEP application, implementing technical and functional changes, supporting production issues, and ensuring smooth and reliable ACH transaction processing.
Key Responsibilitie:
  • Support, maintain, and enhance Client PEP applications.
  • Develop and implement technical and business-driven changes using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and related mainframe technologies.
  • Analyze and resolve ACH processing issues, defects, and production incidents.
  • Understand end-to-end ACH payment flows, including settlement, returns, corrections, and exception processing.
  • Work with NACHA file formats, ACH rules, and transaction-processing requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with business, operations, and technical teams.
  • Troubleshoot payment-processing failures, bottlenecks, and settlement/reconciliation issues.
  • Support production stability and ensure timely resolution of critical payment-processing incidents.
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on Mainframe development experience.
  • Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
  • Hands-on expertise with Client PEP.
  • Strong knowledge of ACH payments, NACHA formats, and ACH processing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end ACH transaction processing, including settlement, returns, corrections, exceptions, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot payment failures, processing bottlenecks, and settlement/reconciliation issues from both technical and functional perspectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
