What you will do

Are you passionate about technology, project leadership, and helping customers succeed? Join Johnson Controls as anImplementation Specialist and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that help customers achieve their business goals.

In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you'll lead implementation projects from kickoff to successful completion, ensuring every deployment is delivered on time, within budget, and with an exceptional customer experience. As the key bridge between customers and technical teams, you'll translate business needs into actionable solutions, manage project milestones, communicate progress, and drive successful outcomes every step of the way.

You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, solve complex challenges, and guide customers through their technology adoption journey, helping them maximize the value of their investment. Your ability to combine project management expertise, business analysis, and customer-focused problem-solving will directly contribute to customer success and long-term partnerships.

This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must be commuting distance to the office, or able to relocate. Various relocation packages are available. US Citizens and/or Permanent Residents will only be considered for this position, as sponsorship is not available.

How you will do it

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer project teams and executive sponsors.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings to gather and document customer business requirements and desired outcomes.
• Lead all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned to customer expectations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal field engineering teams.
• Follow established project management methodologies, standards, and reporting processes.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and customer needs.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable project deliverables.
• Evaluate information from multiple stakeholders and reconcile competing priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and adoption of solutions.
• Support implementation and expansion of OpenBlue Employee software within customer organizations.
• Configure customer-facing surveys and platform settings to meet business requirements.
• Train users and stakeholders on system capabilities, processes, and best practices.
• Create and maintain professional floor plan images using AutoCAD.

What we look for

Required

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer success.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SaaS implementations or customer onboarding projects.
• Demonstrated experience with software or system configuration.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly through both formal instruction and self-directed learning.
• US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident of the US.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Project management experience.
• AutoCAD experience.

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
