Ethics & Compliance Program Maturity Assessment
1. Overview
Uber Internal Audit is seeking a position to serve as a co-source partner in conducting an independent maturity assessment of Uber's Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Program.
The selected candidate will provide subject matter expertise, assessment methodology, benchmarking capabilities, and execution support to evaluate the maturity and effectiveness of Uber's Ethics & Compliance Program and identify opportunities for enhancement.
The assessment should leverage leading practices and benchmark Uber's program against the U.S. Department of Justice Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs (ECCP) guidance and other relevant industry standards.

Estimated Duration: 750 hours
Engagement Objective
Ethics & Compliance Program Assessment:
Perform an independent maturity assessment of Uber's Ethics & Compliance Program and provide practical recommendations to enhance program effectiveness, governance, monitoring, and overall compliance culture.
The engagement should evaluate both program design and operational effectiveness across key components of the compliance program.

4. Required Qualifications
Suppliers must propose candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
Relevant Experience
Experience conducting Ethics & Compliance program assessments for large multinational organizations.
Experience assessing programs against DOJ ECCP guidance.
Experience evaluating compliance programs in technology, marketplace, or other highly regulated industries.
Experience assessing global compliance programs operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Subject Matter Expertise
Ethics and Compliance program design and effectiveness.
Regulatory compliance governance.
Compliance monitoring and testing.
Culture and conduct risk assessments.
Qualifications
The proposed candidate should include professionals with relevant credentials and experience, such as:
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Former compliance officer, regulator, or similar subject matter expert
