SAP IS-U & SAP S/4HANA Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedSAP IS-U & SAP S/4HANA Consultant with deep functional expertise inSAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing and the utility industry. The ideal candidate should have strong experience across theMeter-to-Cash lifecycle for Electricity and Gas utilities, along with hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Utilities and Fiori.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY — Remote
Duration: 6–12+ Months Contract
Experience: 8–10 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze customer/business requirements.

• Provide functional solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Resolve defects and issues within defined SLAs.

• Provide solutions for enhancements and functional improvements.

• Prepare and maintain functional documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with offshore and cross-functional teams.

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders throughout solution delivery.

• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, testing, and implementation activities.

• Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience inSAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing with deep functional expertise across theMeter-to-Cash lifecycle in the utility industry.

• Strong experience withElectricity and Gas utilities.

• Expert knowledge of configuring and customizingbilling master data, including:

  • Billing schemas

  • Rate modeling

  • Complex billing

  • Regulated and deregulated tariff models

• Strong knowledge of end-to-endbilling and invoicing processes, including:

  • Budget Billing

  • RTP Billing

  • TOU Billing

  • Mass Batch Jobs

  • Exception Management

  • Bill Simulation

  • Unbilled Revenue Scenarios

  • Collective Billing

• Working knowledge ofSAP IS-U Bill Print, includingPrint Workbench configuration and integration withSmart Forms and Adobe Forms.

• Experience integrating withDevice Management and FICA.

• Extensive functional and solution experience with the ability to design and develop complex solutions aligned with digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong experience withSAP S/4HANA Utilities and Fiori.

• Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshootOData and Web Services used in integrations.

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to act as a functional liaison between business and IT.

• Ability to guide business stakeholders on SAP best practices.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
