SAP Basis Admin / SAP Basis Lead

Job Description

We are looking for aSenior SAP BASIS Lead with strong hands-on experience inSAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BTP, including system upgrades, migrations, and cloud environments acrossAzure/AWS.

The ideal candidate will have provenlead-level experience managing teams, driving end-to-end SAP landscape architecture, and supportingRISE with SAP / S/4HANA transformations in enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience as anSAP Basis/HANA Administrator managing SAP HANA and S/4HANA landscapes.

• Strong expertise in SAP Basis technical planning, installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration.

• Hands-on experience withSAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SLT, Solution Manager, and SAP Router.

• Experience withOS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO, and SSL certificate installation.

• Hands-on implementation and conversion experience withS/4HANA solutions.

• Experience withSupport Packages, Kernel upgrades, TMS configuration, transport administration, operation modes, profile parameters, and background jobs.

• Strong experience withSAP Backup and Recovery.

• Deep knowledge ofSAP HANA High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

• Expertise inSAP system migrations using DMO and SAP upgrades.

• StrongSQL scripting skills, including stored procedures and performance optimization.

• Expertise withSAP SLT andSAP Data Services.

• Experience withSAP sizing using SAP Quick Sizer.

• Experience withSAP data archiving.

• Experience integrating SAP HANA with remote systems and remote access technologies.

• Strong knowledge ofLinux, hardware, OS, and networking within SAP environments.

• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, landscape design, and system integration.

• Experience developing and executingSAP release plans.

• Experience withsystem refreshes and client copies, including local client copy, client export, and client import.

• Strong experience withSQL traces and performance impact analysis.

• Experience withEarlyWatch configuration and analysis and Transport Management.

• Experience automating SAP Basis tasks through scripting and development approaches.

• Strong incident troubleshooting experience acrossSAP, OS, work processes, logs, OSS Notes, and performance analysis.

• Ability to performRoot Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend solutions.

• Experience creating operational procedures and technical documentation.

• Ability to provide scheduledweekday/weekend on-call support.

• SAP S/4HANA and OS/DB Migration certification is a plus.
