As a Machine Learning Operations Software Engineer at Ubisoft Montréal, you will help buildreliable and scalable systems that protect thetrust and safety of our players.
You will join thePlayer Data domain within Ubisoft’s Data Office, whose mission is to use data to support players throughout their journey in a safe and respectful environment.
This role combinesapplied research and software engineering, with a strong focus onproduction deployment.
What you’ll do
- Leadend to end projects, from design to real world usage
- Design, develop, and maintainapplication services and APIs for data and model sharing
- Build and operatelarge scale data processing pipelines
- Deploy and managescalable cloud infrastructures
- Improveplatform quality and reliability
- Contribute toexploratory projects testing new data and machine learning approaches
- Writeclean, efficient, and maintainable code designed for scale
- Applymodern deployment and monitoring practices for machine learning systems
- Collaborate closely withdata and machine learning specialists to bring models into production
What you bring to the team
- Strong skills insoftware development or data engineering, usingPython or Rust
- Experience designing and consumingweb service APIs
- Practical knowledge ofcloud environments and containerized systems(Kubernetes, ArgoCD, AWS, Terraform)
- Ability to connecthigh level vision with technical details
- Collaborative mindset withclear and respectful communication
- Working knowledge ofmachine learning, including advanced models
- Experiencedeploying predictive models into production
- Familiarity withlarge scale data processing tools or platform operations, an asset
