Join the team behindĀ The Division Resurgence, an action RPG forĀ iOS,Ā Android, PC. As a Release Build Specialist, you will help ensure that the game is reliably built, tested, and released across all platforms, supporting both development and live operations.Ā
You will work on the systems that automate game builds and releases, manage code and asset repositories, andĀ maintainĀ continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Your work will help ensure that stable, high-quality builds are consistently available for developers, QA teams, and release management.Ā
You will also collaborate closely with QAĀ and Ā releaseĀ teams to make sure that updates meet quality standards and are correctly deployed to players.Ā
Build & Workflow AutomationĀ
- Work with the production team to design efficient workflows for building and releasing the gameĀ Ā
- Configure and automate internal tools such as code repositories, build systems, and tracking toolsĀ Ā
- Improve processes to make development and release cycles smoother and more reliableĀ Ā
Source Code & Asset ManagementĀ
- Manage code and game asset repositories used to build the game on Android, iOS, and other platformsĀ Ā
- Ensure teams follow proper version control practices (Git / Perforce)Ā Ā
- Maintain clear separation between different development branches and ensure fixes are properly shared across versionsĀ Ā
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Ā
- Set up andĀ maintainĀ automated build and deployment pipelinesĀ Ā
- Ensure regular and reliable generation of playable game builds and server environmentsĀ Ā
- Monitor build systems and resolve issues related to performance, storage, or versioningĀ Ā
Release CoordinationĀ
- Act as a link between the development team and the mobile release management teamĀ Ā
- Work with QA teams to ensure builds meet quality standards before releaseĀ Ā
- Help ensure smooth and reliable deployment of updates across platformsĀ
- SignificantĀ experienceĀ inĀ DevOPsĀ orĀ ReleaseĀ BuildĀ EngineerĀ withinĀ Video gameĀ industryĀ
- Strong organizational and analyticalĀ and problem-solvingĀ skillsĀ
- Experience with version control systems (Git and/orĀ Perforce)Ā Ā
- Comfortable working across Windows, Linux, and macOS environmentsĀ Ā
- Ability to script in languages such as Python, Bash,Ā ShellĀ or C#Ā Ā
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsĀ Ā
- Experience inĀ video games andĀ familiarityĀ with gameĀ development workflowsĀ isĀ a mustĀ
- Good communicationĀ skills and ability to workĀ withĀ multipleĀ technicalĀ Ā teamsĀ
