As aPrincipal Technical Artist at Ubisoft Montreal, you are the key reference for technical content creation within your area of expertise onUnreal Engine. You help shape technical direction, support complex problem solving, and collaborate closely with technical leadership and production teams to ensure high-quality, performant, and consistent content.

What you’ll do

• Identifytechnical needs within your specialty and providerecommendations to technical leadership
• Contribute to defining and maintaining thetechnical vision for your domain
• Define and evolve thecontent production pipeline to supportperformance,quality, andefficiency
• Establish and sharebest practices related to workflows anddata management
• Design or recommendinternal tools that support content creation teams
• Supportoptimization anddebugging efforts across technical content
• Guide teams duringcontent creation and help resolve technical challenges
• Providementorship to junior profiles and review technical deliverables
• Collaborate withprogramming teams to guide feature development
• Create and maintain cleartechnical documentation
