As aCloud Developer at UbisoftMontreal, you will join the Infrastructure & Platform team. This team builds and operates Ubisoft’s internal IT platform, a centralized environment that provides development teams with cloud and infrastructure services.

In your role as aCloud Developer, you will focus primarily on building features and operating our Database as a Service offering. You will work on a platform built on modern infrastructure, with Kubernetes at its core, supporting scalable and reliable services used across the organization.

What you’ll do

• Design and developmicroservices,web services, andapplication programming interfaces for platform services
• Build and maintain features forDatabase as a Service solutions used by internal teams
• Writeclean, maintainable code aligned with modern architecture and best practices
• Contribute totechnical architecture and design decisions in collaboration with the team
• Produce clear and structuredtechnical documentation for supported services
• Partner withoperations teams to ensure applications run reliably in all environments
• Identify, analyze, and resolvesystem and performance issues
• Improvecontinuous integration and deployment pipelines, testing practices, and development tools

What you bring to the team

• Proficiency in one or morecompiled programming languages, such asGo,C++, orC#
• Strong knowledge ofcontainer and orchestration technologies, includingDocker andKubernetes
• Ability to design and integrateRESTful APIs andgRPC services
• Hands-on experience withcontinuous integration and continuous deployment tools such asGitLab CI,ArgoCD, orSpinnaker
• Familiarity withinfrastructure as code and automation tools likeTerraform andAnsible
• Experience developinglarge-scale software systems in production environments
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working incross-functional teams
• Curiosity and motivation tostay current with cloud and platform technologies
