Role summary:
The Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance and Ethics, plays a critical role in monitoring and interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to ensure organizational adherence. This position involves researching compliance concerns, developing strategies to address gaps, and collaborating with leadership to communicate findings and recommendations. The role supports regulatory forecasting, impact assessments, and the enhancement of compliance reporting processes. About the team:
The Seller Identity Compliance team is essential to maintaining Walmart’s Marketplace integrity. This team manages seller onboarding, identity verification, and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Their work prevents fraud, mitigates risks, and supports a secure, efficient experience for sellers and customers. By driving adherence to ethical standards and operational excellence, the team fosters a trusted marketplace environment aligned with Walmart’s commitment to responsible business practices and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:

Monitor and research laws, regulations, and policies relevant to specialty compliance and ethics, ensuring timely updates and communication to leadership and associates.
Develop, draft, and update compliance policies and standard operating procedures in collaboration with senior management.
Identify compliance risks and gaps, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for resolution and follow-up actions.
Lead legislative assessment strategies by evaluating proposed regulations and their business implications, supporting long-term regulatory forecasting.
Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory trends, managing impact assessments and advising leadership on compliance strategies.
Develop metrics to measure compliance effectiveness and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

What you'll bring:

Proven expertise in compliance risk management and governance strategy within complex regulatory environments.
Strong skills in policy development, compliance testing, and ethical standards enforcement.
Ability to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports to identify compliance gaps and recommend effective solutions.
Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate compliance findings and implement corrective actions.
Demonstrated capability to monitor legislation, assess regulatory impacts, and develop adaptive compliance strategies.
Commitment to upholding integrity, ethical conduct, and company values in all business practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills to support compliance initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
